The Mutated Zombie is a zombie added in Alpha 20. It acts similarly to the Infected Police Officer, but it shoots its acid up and around itself. The acid does a base of 50 damage to blocks compared to the Infected Police Officer's 240 block damage spit attack. unlike the feral/radiated cop his special attack doesn't do extra damage to the player or blocks only his main attack damage increases It occasionally spawns in the Wasteland, as well as trapped in a certain Point of Interest laboratory. Despite the Mutated Zombie’s acid attack ability and it’s ability to irradiate the player briefly, the acid attack is very inaccurate compared to the Infected Police Officer and is unlikely to hit the player as long as they don’t move towards it as they fire it.
